Vane, Ergonomic Office Chair with Front Controls

On most office chairs the levers sit somewhere under or behind the seat, so you set the chair once and never touch it again. On the Vane all the controls are at the front of the seat. You can see what you are doing, you do not have to bend down, and so you actually adjust the chair when you want to sit differently. On top of that: synchro mechanism, sliding seat, mesh back, aluminium armrests and EN 1335. Rated to 150 kg.

Frequently asked questions

What does EN 1335 mean?
It is the European standard for office chairs. A chair with this certificate has been tested on dimensions, adjustment range and sturdiness, and is suitable for a full working day.

How do I set the chair up correctly?
Seat height: feet flat on the floor, knees at a right angle. Seat depth: two fingers of space between the seat and the back of your knee. Armrests: elbows at a right angle, shoulders relaxed. A short guide is in the box, and we are happy to help by email.

Can I return it?
You have 30 days to change your mind. Return costs are at your own expense. Keep the box: the chair must come back complete, undamaged and well packed. If the chair has been assembled and used, signs of use may be deducted from the refund.

What if something breaks?
Send us a short description with a photo or video. Within the warranty we send a replacement part free of charge, such as a castor, armrest or gas lift. These are stocked in the Netherlands.

Is it suitable for a hard floor?
Yes. The castors work on both carpet and hard floors. On parquet or laminate we recommend a floor mat or soft castors.

Does the Vane have lumbar support?
The back is shaped and follows your lower back through the synchro mechanism. A separate, individually adjustable lumbar support is found on the Cara and the Glory.
